Can your "Pomme" wax warmer be used with a timer?
No, the Pomme wax warmer is not compatible with a timer.
However, it is equipped with a rapid melting button, allowing you to melt the wax quickly.
Professional advice: Always remember to test the temperature of the wax on the inside of your wrist before application to ensure your client's safety.
Can the device be left running continuously?
Although our devices are designed for intensive professional use, it is not recommended to leave them on 24/7.
- During the day: The device is designed to remain on during all your treatments.
- In the evening: As a safety measure and to preserve the heating components as well as the quality of your wax, we recommend turning off the device after your last client.
How do you know if the device is working properly?
A properly functioning wax warmer can be identified by three criteria:
- it heats progressively and evenly,
- it maintains a stable temperature throughout the day,
- it allows for a supple and easy-to-work wax.
If you notice irregular heating, wax overheating abnormally, or wax no longer melting, it is recommended to have the device checked or stop using it.
Can the device be refilled with wax throughout the day?
Yes. You can add wax beads as soon as the level drops.
Fille au Pluriel Tip: don't wait until the tank is empty. By adding small amounts regularly, you maintain a stable temperature without having to wait for complete melting between two treatments, which guarantees continuity in your appointments.
How to clean the device without risking damage?
Our Fille au Pluriel cleaner is specially designed to clean your devices gently.
For safe cleaning:
- turn off and unplug the device,
- let it cool down (without letting it cool completely),
- remove wax residue using a suitable spatula,
- clean with a soft cloth and a specific product or oil.
Warning: Avoid acetone-based products, which could damage the device's finish. Do not use water, abrasive products, or immersion.
Can the color of the wax warmer change?
Over time, the use of certain cleaning products or prolonged exposure to heat may cause slight discoloration of the plastics.
This is a normal aesthetic wear phenomenon that does not affect the technical performance or safety of the device in any way.
The systematic use of protective collars protects the body of the device and prolongs its new appearance.
Can you put an 800ml pot in a 500ml wax warmer?
The diameter of the 500 ml and 800 ml pots is identical: an 800 ml pot can therefore fit in the Pomme wax warmer.
However, the heating may not be uniform, as part of the pot will not be in direct contact with the device's heating elements.
It is therefore recommended to use a wax warmer adapted to the pot's capacity to ensure uniform melting and optimal work.
