What is the "Quartz de Lune" ritual?
The Quartz de Lune ritual is a unique waxing protocol designed to bring relaxation and well-being before and after waxing. Its goal? To offer a soothing and relaxing experience to clients, from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
The ritual takes place in three steps: "Breathing, Waxing, Relaxation".
- Breathing : From the moment the client arrives, we begin with a breathing prelude with gentle stimulations around the abdomen, to help release tension and prepare her for waxing.
- Waxing : We then move on to the desired waxing with our delicately scented waxes, gentle on the skin but highly effective on hair!
- Relaxation : Once waxing is complete, it's time to unwind. Using our chilled Quartz de Lune, we perform a gentle massage on the waxed area to soothe, decongest, and relax.
For those who wish to offer this experience to their clients, the Quartz de Lune training kit is available. It includes:
- A protocol booklet to learn each step, with QR codes to access massage tutorial videos.
- 2 moon quartz stones with their protective pouches.
- A video conference or phone appointment with our trainer to answer all your questions.

Why use pre-waxing treatments in a beauty salon?
Pre-waxing treatments prepare the skin and mechanically optimize the result. They allow you to:
- Cleanse and sanitize the area to be waxed.
- Remove residue from cream, sweat or makeup that causes the wax to "slide".
- Straighten the hair for better grip, thus limiting broken hairs.
- Limit irritations by creating a protective barrier.
Well-prepared skin guarantees a cleaner, faster and above all longer-lasting waxing result.
Which products should you use before a professional waxing session?
For optimal preparation, we recommend:
- A cleansing lotion: To rid the skin of all impurities.
- An absorbent powder: Essential for areas prone to moisture (underarms, bikini line) or for sugaring.
At Fille au Pluriel, our pre-waxing products respect the skin's natural balance while maximizing wax adhesion for a single, effective pass.
Which post-waxing products should be used after a waxing session?
After waxing, the skin needs to be soothed, nourished and protected. At Fille au Pluriel, the choice of treatment depends on the area and the desired effect:
- Post-waxing rose water: immediately soothes, tightens pores and calms redness thanks to its astringent and soothing properties.
- Post-waxing milk: intensely moisturizes, soothes irritations and leaves skin soft thanks to its light, non-greasy texture.
- Pre and post-waxing oil: nourishes, protects and regenerates the skin while preventing dryness and irritations.
- Post-waxing foam: soothes, refreshes and quickly reduces redness and discomfort after waxing.
How to avoid redness after waxing?
To minimize skin reactions, follow these golden rules:
- use a wax suited to the area and skin type,
- maintain the correct wax temperature,
- avoid going over the same area multiple times,
- Always apply a soothing post-waxing treatment.
Good technique combined with professional products greatly reduces skin reactions.
Which post-waxing treatments are recommended for sensitive skin?
For sensitive skin, opt for:
- alcohol-free treatments,
- soothing and moisturizing formulas,
- light textures that absorb quickly.
Fille au Pluriel treatments are designed to respect reactive skin and comfort the skin after waxing without any sensation of heat or tightness.
What is the complete "Fille au Pluriel" protocol in the salon?
We advocate a ritual that transforms waxing into a moment of well-being:
Before waxing:
- Breathing prelude: Welcome ritual to relax the client.
- Cleansing: With our pre-waxing lotion.
- Drying: Application of absorbent powder if necessary.
- Waxing: With the appropriate Fille au Pluriel wax.
After waxing:
- Rose water misting for a refreshing effect and tightening of the hair follicles
- Removal of wax residue with a post-waxing oil if needed
- Application of a soothing and moisturizing treatment
- Quartz de Lune Ritual Massage to close the waxing session with a moment of well-being.
- Post-treatment advice for the client (avoid heat, friction, sun exposure…)
This protocol ensures safety, comfort and optimal results.
Is the pre and post waxing protocol mandatory for a successful waxing session?
It is not legally required, but it is essential in a quality professional practice.
A pre and post waxing protocol:
- improves the technical result (cleaner skin)
- reduces skin reactions,
- showcases your expertise and justifies your pricing
- strengthens client satisfaction and loyalty.
It is a true mark of professionalism in a beauty salon.
